Laura Vickerson is a Canadian artist who lives and works in Calgary. She presently teaches at the Alberta College of Art & Design. She has exhibited extensively in Canada as well as in the U.S., Britain, Turkey, Poland and China. She has produced site-specific installations for various international exhibitions and venues including the Istanbul Biennial, le Manifestation Internationale d’Art de Quebec. She has participated in artist residencies at The Banff Centre for the Arts (Banff, Alberta) and the “Sympo-Fibres International” in Ste-Hyacinth, Quebec.
