Ron Geesin is a composer, musician, producer, sound architect, writer, lecturer and collector of spanners. He is probably best known for his relationship with Pink Floyd, as the orchestrator of their 1970 album Atom Heart Mother. With everything he embarks upon, he brings his own particular brand of unbounded enthusiasm and inquisitive passion.
Geesin is married to the artist Frances Geesin, and the two collaborated in 1990 on 'Tune Tube', a sound and light installation at the MacLellan Galleries
