A fully functional, full scale prototype communications satellite modelled on the former USSR's Sputnik, made during a residency at Meadow Well Community Centre, North Shields.
Personal stories and anecdotes from the community in the Meadow Well estate were recorded and transmitted on an FM frequency broadcast from the satellite.
